Wisconsin Police Officer Arrested for Child Abuse and Strangulation

In a shocking incident in Wisconsin, a police officer has been arrested and charged with felony child abuse, suffocation, and strangulation. The officer, Frank Williams, 30, was recently suspended by the Milwaukee Police Department following the accusations. Williams, who had been with the department for over 7 years, now faces serious charges.

The disturbing case came to light when authorities were alerted to an injured child staying at Children’s Wisconsin, a local hospital. During the initial interview, authorities observed several distinct bruises on the child’s left thigh. The child, speaking from the emergency room, revealed that they had been physically abused by Williams, who allegedly used a belt to “whoop” them.

Further investigations revealed that the abuse was not an isolated incident. In a forensic interview conducted on Thursday, the child disclosed that Williams had punished them for staying awake during nap time. The victim also alleged that Williams had choked them with his hands in addition to using the belt.

“The Milwaukee Police Department holds all members to the highest degree of integrity, and if any member violates the code of conduct, they will be held accountable,” stated the police department in response to the incident. Williams has been fully suspended, and an internal investigation is pending.

This shocking case of child abuse and strangulation has sent shockwaves through the community, raising concerns about the integrity of law enforcement officers. It highlights the importance of holding those in positions of power accountable for their actions.
