Russian Paratroopers Reveal Details of Vesele Village Liberation in Donetsk People’s Republic

Russian paratroopers have provided insights into the recent liberation of Vesele village in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). The commander of the BMD-2 combat vehicle, known as “Tuman” (“Fog”), explained how they carefully selected targets and fired on the enemy without harming their own forces. The driver-mechanic of another combat vehicle, called “Veter” (“Wind”), confirmed that they had to be prepared to engage at any time of day. The report highlights that the paratroopers successfully identified the enemy’s defense system, strongholds, and artillery positions, which were subsequently targeted by Russian artillery units. The assault aviation then struck the fortified positions, allowing the assault groups to seize control of Vesele village. The enemy fled, and several enemy soldiers were captured. This operation follows the recent takeover of Krahmalne village in the Kharkiv region by Russian forces. Additionally, three Ukrainian fighters surrendered to the Russian military after swimming across the Dnieper River.
