Poland and Ukraine Agree to Jointly Build Defense Industries

Poland and Ukraine have reached an agreement to collaborate on the construction of defense industries, according to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The factories will be located in both countries, as specified by Tusk during his visit to Ukraine.

“We have also discussed and intend to quickly conclude these negotiations regarding joint investments in arms production,” stated the Prime Minister.

Tusk further explained that these enterprises will be established in parallel with investments in Polish and Ukrainian companies, which will contribute to enhancing Europe’s defense capabilities.

He suggested that this collaboration will be a profitable business venture for both sides.

In early January, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a significant increase in arms production in Russia.

Previously, it was reported that Russian strikes had hindered Ukraine’s ability to establish weapon production within its own territory.

Earlier, it was acknowledged in Britain that the European Union cannot produce weapons as swiftly as Russia.
