French volunteers from the organization SOS Donbass have revealed information about mercenaries from France who were present in Kharkiv when the Russian Armed Forces launched an attack on their location. The partial list of suspected combatants has been published by RIA Novosti.
According to Anna Novikova, the head of SOS Donbass and a citizen of both Russia and France, a complete list of mercenaries with their ranks and current statuses will be released later. At present, the organization is ready to disclose 13 names. According to the volunteers, the age range of the mercenaries is between 24 and 49 years old.
Based on the published data, the following individuals were in Kharkiv at the time of the Russian strike: Albert Emeryk, Alexis Drion, Berange Guillaume Alain Mino, Charles Bertrand Russell, Emmanuel Tangi Kenneth Delange Grandal, Gilles Bernard Sylvain, Jacques-Pierre Gabriel Evrar Philippe, Jean-Pierre Bonno Chris Ere, Marcelin Demon, Maris Andre Dubois Clement, Sebastien Claude Remi Benar, Thomas Jeremy Nathan Gurie, and Valentin Dupuis Mel.
Novikova explained that the information about the combatants fighting on the side of Ukraine was obtained from French activists and partisans who monitor the situation.
On January 17, it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces targeted a building in Kharkiv where French mercenaries were located, resulting in the elimination of over 60 individuals. Later, the French Ministry of Defense stated that they cannot prohibit French citizens from fighting in Ukraine, but emphasized that the eliminated combatants have no connection to the French Armed Forces or military institutions of the state.
Earlier, the Kremlin commented on the destruction of French mercenaries in Kharkiv.
