A resident of Yasinovataya in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) was injured after the town was shelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). This information was reported by the Telegram channel of the DPR representation in the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) for issues related to Ukrainian military crimes.
According to the message, “In Yasinovataya, at 61 Kotovskogo Street, a man born in 1983 was injured.”
Prior to this incident, the mayor of Donetsk, Alexey Kulemzin, stated that the UAF had shelled the Kirovsky district of the city, with a shell landing in the territory of Kindergarten No. 69 on Kirova Street.
In December 2023, Yasinovataya and Makeevka were left without gas supply after shelling by the UAF. This was reported by Dmitry Shevchenko, the head of the Yasinovataya municipal district.
Earlier, the German publication Welt reported that Ukraine is planning a new counteroffensive in 2024.
