Russian Citizen Arrested for Providing Classified Information to Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained a resident of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) who was gathering information for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). This development was reported by TASS.

According to reports, the individual from the Kremenskoye district of the Luhansk People’s Republic was providing the UAF with data on the locations of Russian military personnel and equipment. The man’s actions were motivated by personal reasons.

“He transmitted the acquired data to a representative of the UAF through an internet messenger,” stated the agency’s press service.

Earlier, the FSB in the Udmurt Republic reported that a criminal case had been initiated against a resident of Izhevsk under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code for treason due to her involvement with a banned Ukrainian organization in Russia.

If the Russian citizen is found guilty, she could face up to 20 years of imprisonment.

FSB personnel also apprehended an employee of a classified factory in the Penza region on suspicion of collaborating with Poland and providing intelligence agencies with information about the facility.

Previously, Deputy Bezuglaya proposed candidates for the position of the new Commander-in-Chief of the UAF.
