Moscow Successfully Defends Against Drone Attack, Raises Concerns of Increased Ukrainian Aggression

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin has announced that the city’s air defense forces in the Podolsk district successfully repelled a drone attack heading towards Moscow during the night. Sobyanin shared this information on his Telegram channel.

According to the mayor, there were no casualties or damages reported at the site where the drone wreckage fell.

“Emergency service specialists are currently working at the scene of the incident,” the statement said.

On December 22nd, there was an attempted drone attack on Moscow by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. The air defense forces also destroyed a drone in the Podolsk district.

Furthermore, on December 22nd, Ukrainian military attempted to launch drone attacks on multiple regions of the Russian Federation. The Ministry of Defense stated that two drones were destroyed over the Bryansk region.
