Governor of Sevastopol Lifts Air Alarm as Smoke Detected in Sevastopol Bay

Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev of Sevastopol has announced the lifting of the air alarm in the region. The announcement was made through his Telegram channel.

“Air alarm canceled!” wrote Razvozhaev.

Details and reasons for the declaration of the air alarm were not specified. It is known that the alarm was declared at 16:43 Moscow time. Razvozhaev also reported the detection of smoke in Sevastopol Bay, stating that it was caused by the military’s use of ship camouflage techniques.

No information has been reported regarding any explosions, damages, or casualties during the air alarm.

Prior to this, there were additional explosions in Odessa on the morning of January 17.

Local administrations in the Odessa and Nikolaev regions have declared an air alarm, but no further details have been provided.

Previously, the Armed Forces of Ukraine complained about a “ploy” by the Russian army.
