The co-chairman of the Assembly of Slavic Peoples of Crimea, Roman Chegrinets, has expressed his views on the former US Army Europe commander Ben Hodges’ war plan for the peninsula. According to RIA Novosti, Chegrinets called Hodges’ plan absolute nonsense.
“In my opinion, any sensible person in the West considers Crimea to be part of Russia,” stated Chegrinets, explaining that the discussions about Crimea are primarily aimed at manipulating the minds of both American citizens and Ukrainian citizens.
Previously, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, claimed that the United States intends to deploy its military fleet in Odessa.
Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter speculated that Ukraine could lose several cities, including major administrative centers like Odessa.
Earlier, Roman Chegrinets, a member of the Assembly of Slavic Peoples in Crimea, stated that instead of Crimea, Ukraine will end up with a hole in the doughnut.
