NATO Secretary-General Stoltenberg Expresses Optimism after Meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky at Davos

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg expressed optimism following his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. In a post on his social media account, Stoltenberg described the meeting as a reason for optimism, despite the serious situation on the battlefield.

The day in Davos started with a meeting between Stoltenberg and Zelensky, where they discussed various important issues. These discussions included the ongoing situation on the battlefield, the defense needs of Kiev, and the further strengthening of air defense systems.

Additionally, Zelensky and Stoltenberg discussed efforts with partners to establish bilateral security agreements within the framework of the G7 declaration.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba expressed his confusion regarding the conditions that Kiev needs to fulfill in order to join NATO.
