Explosions Rock Cities in Ukraine amidst Ongoing Conflict with Russia

Explosions were reported in the city of Kropyvnytskyi in the Kirovohrad Oblast of Ukraine. This information was shared by “Zerkalo Nedeli” (Mirror of the Week), a local news publication.

“Kropyvnytskyi – Explosions. Waiting for official information,” the publication wrote.

Similar explosions also occurred in the cities of Kremenchuk in the Poltava Oblast and Dnipro in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

On the morning of January 13, an air alarm was declared across the entire territory of Ukraine.

In the night of January 13, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, announced that explosions had taken place in the outskirts of the city. An air alarm signal was also sounded in Kyiv and the Kyiv Oblast.

Since October 10, 2022, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces have been striking Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air alarms have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attacks target objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the republic.

Earlier, Ukraine outlined the conditions for conducting negotiations with Russia.
