Barstool Sports Founder Criticizes President Biden’s Ability to Serve Another Term

In a recent interview with “Varney & Co.,” Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy expressed his doubts about President Biden’s ability to serve another term. Portnoy, known for his candid opinions, stated that Biden’s cognitive disabilities were evident and raised concerns about his capacity to lead the country. He argued that any company focused on the bottom line and making money would not put someone with clear impairments in charge.

“He’s a walking vegetable. And that has nothing to do with being Republican [or] Democrat. But when you need help walking off a stage after you give a speech, it’s probably time to call it quits,” Portnoy said.

Portnoy further criticized Biden, stating that he is not capable of being president for another 20 seconds, and suggested that there are people behind the scenes making decisions for him. He expressed his concerns about those individuals holding power and not wanting to relinquish it.

These remarks come as Biden, who turned 81 years old in November, has been holding closed-door meetings with his top donors to address concerns about his age and energy heading into the 2024 election. The meetings, which have taken place at the White House, have covered various topics, including how to handle former President Trump if he wins the Republican nomination and abortion rights.

Portnoy described Biden’s decision to run for re-election as a “disgrace” and criticized his inability to find his way off a stage and his tendency to ramble incoherently. However, Portnoy also noted that Donald Trump would not be his first choice for president, as he believes Trump is intentionally divisive.

Despite their differences, Portnoy expressed his desire to bring the country together and emphasized the importance of building relationships as president. He acknowledged that the country’s polarization makes this a challenging task, with people’s judgments clouded by their hatred for Trump.

A recent Suffolk University poll found that among Iowa voters likely to participate in the GOP presidential caucuses, Trump enjoys significant support at 54%, followed by Nikki Haley at 20% and Ron DeSantis at 13%.

It is important to note that the views expressed by Portnoy are his own and do not represent the official stance of Barstool Sports. The interview provides insight into the concerns and opinions surrounding President Biden’s ability to serve another term.
