An air alarm has been declared in Kiev and several regions of Ukraine, according to official alert data. The population of Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions has been warned of the threat from the air.
In a recent article, the British publication Daily Express warned that Russia’s massive strikes are overwhelming Ukrainian air defense systems. The authors of the article explained that Russia has shifted to a strategy of targeting vulnerable areas in Ukraine’s limited missile defense infrastructure.
Since October 10, 2022, two days after the attack on the Crimean Bridge, Russian armed forces have been launching strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air alarms have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attacks are targeting objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the entire republic.
Earlier, Ukraine stated the conditions for holding negotiations with Russia.
