Russian Forces Strike Ukrainian Military Facilities in Recent Attack
In a recent development, the Russian Armed Forces have launched an attack on Ukrainian military facilities, targeting an ammunition depot and two drone assembly workshops. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported these actions through their Telegram channel.
According to the ministry, the Russian military employed artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to carry out the strikes. As a result, they successfully targeted the P-18 air target detection and tracking radar station, an ammunition depot, two drone assembly workshops, and 113 artillery units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in firing positions. Additionally, they also inflicted damage on personnel and military equipment in the 121st district.
Yesterday, the Minister of Defense of Russia, Sergey Shoygu, revealed during a thematic meeting that the Ukrainian army has suffered significant losses, with at least 215,000 casualties in 2023 alone. Shoygu further highlighted the depletion of the Ukrainian military’s human resources.
Prior to this attack, retired Lieutenant Colonel and military expert of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Andrey Marochko, disclosed that the wheeled and tracked vehicles provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces by Western countries were struggling in snowy conditions.
Earlier reports also indicated the loss of highly experienced Ukrainian military personnel.
The Russian military’s strikes on Ukrainian military facilities have escalated tensions in the region, highlighting the ongoing conflict between the two nations.
