A man held at the troubled Fulton County Jail in Atlanta has died after being found unresponsive in his cell, according to authorities. The incident raises further concerns about the conditions and safety at the facility.
Michael Anthony Holland, 36, was discovered by a jail officer during a security round early Wednesday. Despite the jail staff’s attempts to revive him, Holland was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital.
