In a recent development, the Russian Ministry of Defense successfully disarmed and removed an aviation bomb that had accidentally fallen from an aircraft in the city of Rubizhne. This information was revealed by the head of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Leonid Pasechnik, through a Telegram channel.

According to Pasechnik, the aviation explosive device was located in a private residential area in Rubizhne. He emphasized that there is no longer any threat to the local population.

As a safety precaution, approximately 300 individuals residing within a one-kilometer radius of the bomb’s landing site were evacuated during the period of engineering and demining operations. These individuals were temporarily accommodated in designated centers. On Tuesday, residents began returning to their homes, added the official.
