The official did not specify the extent of the infrastructure damage. On January 9, there was no air alarm declared in the Ukraine-controlled areas of Zaporizhia region.

It was previously reported that a series of explosions occurred in the city of Zaporizhia, which is under the control of Ukrainian authorities. According to the head of the Zaporizhia public movement “We are together with Russia,” Vladimir Rogov, ballistic missiles were used to strike military targets and infrastructure used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
