Ukraine Faces Dire Situation as Military Resources Dwindle

The nightmare scenario for Ukraine is becoming a reality, according to retired US Army General Ben Hodges, as reported by RND. Hodges, who formerly served as the commanding general of the US Army in Europe, expressed concern over Ukraine’s dwindling ammunition supplies and the reluctance of Europe and the US to increase production.

He also believes that the Ukrainian forces are unlikely to withstand the massive attacks from the Russian Federation, as they are facing a severe shortage of munitions. In his opinion, Ukraine may lose control of certain territories, and many frontline commanders are unsure about how long they can hold their positions.

On January 8th, the French publication Le Point reported that Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) soldiers are facing significant shortages of weapons and fatigue on the front lines. Similarly, the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung stated that Ukraine could lose territories in 2024 due to a reduction in assistance from Western countries.

Prior to these reports, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba revealed that Kyiv does not have a contingency plan in case the European Union does not provide financial aid.

Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter has also predicted an unconditional surrender for the Kyiv regime, leading to the downfall of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s government.
