Russian Forces Successfully Neutralize Unexploded German Munitions in Ukraine

In a recent development on the Kupyansk front, military engineers from the Russian military group “Zapad” have successfully rendered unexploded German cassette munitions safe. This achievement was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Ministry of Defense.

According to the report, during an attack on a residential area by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Kupyansk front, one of the shells landed in the vicinity of a private house. However, thanks to the swift actions of the military engineers from the 6th Combined Army of the “Zapad” military group, the unexploded German cassette munitions were safely destroyed.

The Ministry of Defense representatives also highlighted that in the past week, the engineers have successfully neutralized over 200 various munitions of Soviet and Western origin, which were being used by the Ukrainian army.

Earlier, a tank crew member shared insights about the performance of the new Russian T-80BVM tanks in the special operation zone. According to the commander, the tanks have been continuously supporting infantry during assaults, not only ensuring effective engagement of targets but also positively impacting the morale of the Russian Armed Forces soldiers.
