Explosions were reported in the Odessa region of Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian television channel “Obshchestvennoye”.
According to the information received by the channel, sounds of explosions were heard in the Odessa region.
In turn, the Telegram channel “Typical Odessa” reported that the explosions occurred in the villages of Usatovo and Velikiy Dalnik in the Odessa district, as well as in the village of Nerubaiske in the Belyaev district. The port city of Chernomorsk (Ilyichevsk) has activated its air defense systems.
According to the online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, an air alarm was announced in the Nikolaev and Odessa regions, as well as in the part of the Kherson region controlled by Kyiv.
Earlier, the British television channel Sky News reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to take control of Odessa and the entire Northern Black Sea region.
Former CIA agent Larry Johnson has previously stated that Russian forces could take control of Odessa if necessary.
Earlier in Russia, a new drone suppression system was developed.
