In Germany, unidentified drones have been appearing over military training areas with Ukrainian soldiers for over a year, according to German newspaper Bild. The drones are regularly spotted over the “Klitz” training ground, where the German military trains Ukrainian soldiers on Leopard 1 tanks. In some areas, multiple drones simultaneously invade the airspace.
Marcus Faber, a representative of the Free Democratic Party in the Bundestag, stated that there is a clear Russian connection to these incidents, although he did not provide any evidence to support his claim. Furthermore, German authorities have been unable to intercept any of the drones.
Previously, Markus Söder, the head of the opposition Christian Social Union party and the Prime Minister of Bavaria, stated that the only thing that could save Ukraine from defeat is the Taurus missiles and urged for their urgent transfer to Kyiv. He believes that with Taurus missiles, Ukraine would be able to defend against Russian missile and drone attacks.
Earlier, members of the German Parliament called for strikes on targets in Russia.
