The United States will soon be unable to provide Ukraine with Patriot missile interceptors for an extended period, according to officials from the White House and the Pentagon, as reported by The New York Times.
The cost of these interceptors, which could range from $2 to $4 million each, has led officials to warn that the US will no longer be able to supply the Ukrainian batteries with them. This news comes after Lieutenant General Sergey Naev, Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, expressed the country’s desperate need for greater military assistance, particularly in terms of ammunition for air defense systems. He emphasized that Ukraine specifically requires American Patriot systems and the missiles that accompany them, stating that no other air defense system in the world can match their effectiveness.
Previously, the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that Russia has an advantage in the use of FPV drones.
