Russian air defense systems have successfully intercepted and shot down an air target approaching the city of Belgorod, according to the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov. The incident, which occurred recently, resulted in no harm to local residents and no reported damages.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced their successful interception of several Ukrainian missiles within the zone of a special military operation. In the past 24 hours, Russian defense systems have intercepted four aviation-guided missiles and one projectile from the HIMARS rocket artillery system.
Prior to these events, five Ukrainian drones were eliminated by Russian air defense systems over the western part of the Black Sea. The unmanned aerial vehicles were replaced at 8:00 PM Moscow time.
In separate news, two individuals were injured in Gorlovka, Donetsk, as a result of shelling from Ukrainian forces.
