Explosions Reported in Zaporizhia, Ukraine Amidst Ongoing Russian Attacks

In the city of Zaporizhia, which is under Ukrainian control, explosions have occurred, according to the Ukrainian news agency, “Ukrinform.”

Details are scarce at the moment, but an air alarm had been previously declared in the region.

Prior to this, Yuriy Ignat, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, stated that the Russian missile strikes were not tied to symbolic dates, making it difficult for Kyiv to predict them.

On the morning of December 29th, it was revealed that explosions were heard near the “Artem” military factory in Kyiv. On that day, Ukraine experienced a massive attack.

Based on available information, on October 10th, 2022, just two days after the attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces began targeting Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air alarms have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, often across the entire country. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attacks are targeting objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication.

Previously, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had raised concerns about the tactics employed by the Russian army.
