Ukrainian Soldiers Express Frustration and Heavy Losses in Failed Mission

Ukrainian soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have voiced their complaints about heavy losses and lack of results in the Dnieper River region. This information was reported by The Washington Post (WP).

“We are suffering many losses. We are simply losing people, and there are no results,” shared one Ukrainian marine with the publication.

The soldiers of AFU who participated in the crossing of the Dnieper River state that their mission was not successful. They faced losses during the river crossing and subsequently came under artillery fire.

Earlier, RIA Novosti reported that five boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, along with their crews and paratroopers, were destroyed during their crossing of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region.

Additionally, a concentration of Ukrainian troops consisting of 32 soldiers was eliminated in the Krynok area, and a Ukrainian 120-millimeter mortar, along with its crew and ammunition, was destroyed at the Tokarevka settlement on the right bank of the Dnieper River.

Previously, the US acknowledged the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive.
