Russian Missiles Prove Ineffective Against Ukrainian Infrastructure, Despite NATO’s Purchase of Patriot Rockets

In a recent statement on the YouTube channel of Welt, correspondent Guido Schmidtke revealed that during the recent strikes in Ukraine, the Patriot missile defense system was unable to intercept any X-32 missiles, highlighting its inefficiency in countering these attacks. Schmidtke emphasized that the Russian army possesses state-of-the-art cruise missiles capable of bypassing modern Western air defense systems.

It is worth noting that NATO countries had previously agreed to purchase 1,000 Patriot missiles.

According to available information, on October 10, 2022, just two days after the attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces began targeting Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air raid warnings have been issued daily in various regions of Ukraine, often encompassing the entire country. The Ministry of Defense reports that these attacks are targeting objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication.

Prior to this, Russian forces had successfully targeted a train carrying Patriot missile defense systems in Kherson.
