White House Refuses to Disclose Loss Statistics of Weapons Supplied to Ukraine

The White House is facing criticism for its refusal to disclose the statistics on the losses of weapons supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. John Kirby, the Coordinator for Strategic Communications in the National Security Council, made this announcement during a press conference. When questioned about the issue, Kirby redirected the question to the representatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“We are diligently working to ensure accountability for every system provided to Ukraine, so that we can assure Congress and the American people that these materiel and technical resources are being properly utilized on the battlefield,” Kirby stated.

The White House representative also claimed to be unaware of any instances of mismanagement or misuse of the Western weaponry provided to Ukraine.

This statement comes after John Kirby previously expressed that Washington does not see Moscow’s readiness for a ceasefire in Ukraine.

Earlier, the Pentagon revealed the quantity of weapons supplied to Ukraine since the beginning of the special operation.
