In the early hours of the morning, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) conducted shelling in the Yasinovatstkiy district and Gorlovka, according to the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) representative in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s military crimes (JCCC).
The DPR reported that the shelling took place in Novoselovka Pervaya – Yasinovatstkiy district at 01:00, with three projectiles of 155mm caliber. In Gorlovka, three projectiles of 152mm caliber were fired at 02:20.
On January 3, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, revealed that Ukrainian forces had shelled the town of Zamoshye in the Belgorod region.
Prior to this incident, Vyacheslav Gladkov had reported damage to four private residential houses in Shebekino after shelling from Ukraine.
Earlier, air defense systems had successfully intercepted a UAV belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the Kursk region.
