Russian Forces Destroy Ukrainian Tanks in Ongoing Conflict

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released footage showcasing the destruction of Ukrainian tanks in one of the directions of the special military operation. The video was uploaded on the ministry’s Telegram channel.

The footage reveals a tank being targeted and igniting after the first shot. The crew manages to evacuate the burning vehicle and flee into the woods. Following a second shot, the enemy’s armored vehicle is completely destroyed.

On January 2nd, the Russian army destroyed a platoon of Leopard-2A6 tanks on the Svatove direction. The Ministry of Defense published footage of the destruction of armored vehicles carried out by servicemen from the combined forces grouping “Zapad.” The video shows three combat vehicles being hit by multiple projectiles, including kamikaze drones “Lancet.”

Prior to this, at the end of December, Russian airborne troops, with the help of barraging ammunition “Lancet,” destroyed a self-propelled artillery installation (SAU) “Gvozdika” and a Ukrainian tank on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region.

Earlier, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed a Ukrainian tank on the Zaporizhzhia direction.
