Florida Woman Arrested for Allegedly Attacking Neighbor with Hammer in Property Dispute

In a recent A&E special, “Casey Anthony’s Parents: The Lie Detector Test,” George Anthony struggled to answer a question during a polygraph test. Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a Florida woman named Kelly Figueroa has been arrested for allegedly striking her neighbor with a hammer during a property line dispute. The incident took place in Spring Hill, just north of Tampa Bay, and was reported by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the arrest affidavit obtained by FOX Orlando, Figueroa was hammering down stakes on her property on December 29th to install a fence when the conflict arose. She claimed that she had been involved in several incidents with her neighbor regarding the ongoing property line dispute. Figueroa stated that she was placing the stakes in her backyard when her neighbor approached and pushed her.

However, the neighbor’s son provided a different account to the authorities. He claimed that Figueroa pushed the neighbor first and then struck her with the hammer she was using for the lawn stakes. The neighbor suffered swelling and bruising on her left wrist as a result of the altercation.

The argument initially started when Figueroa was accused of placing stakes on the neighbor’s property. Figueroa denied the allegations and stated that the neighbor’s injuries occurred while she was working in her own yard. She was subsequently charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and has since been released on a $5,000 bond.

The incident highlights the escalating tensions in the neighborhood due to the ongoing property dispute. The case serves as a reminder of the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully and respecting boundaries.
