Russia Strikes Ukrainian Warehouses and Airfields, Increasing Intensity of Attacks

The armed forces of Russia have launched a strike on Ukrainian warehouses containing Western long-range cruise missiles, Storm Shadow and SCALP, as well as on airfields with aircraft for their launch. This was reported by Military Watch Magazine.

It is noted that these strikes targeted both strategic and tactical objectives throughout Ukraine.

The massive strikes on Ukrainian territory indicate that Russia has been able to significantly increase its missile production compared to the period before the start of the special operation, as stated in the article.

The author of the publication points out that this has allowed Russia to greatly intensify the attacks on both battlefield positions and targets in major Ukrainian cities, located hundreds of kilometers away from the contact line.

During the night of December 29 and the morning of December 30, Ukraine was subjected to a massive strike. Explosions occurred in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Lviv, Zaporizhia, and other cities. Valeriy Zaluzhny, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stated that the country was attacked by 122 missiles and 36 drones. Yuriy Ignat, a representative of the Ukrainian Air Force, said that there had never been so many targets simultaneously on the monitor before.

The Russian Ministry of Defense emphasized that the targets of the strike were military-industrial complexes, military airfields, arsenals, and military facilities, and all of them were hit. More details can be found in the article on “Gazeta.Ru.”

Previously, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated that if it were not for the Ukrainian air defense forces, there would have been no civilian casualties.
