In a recent interview with iROZHLAS, Czech Colonel Zdenek Petrasch has expressed his skepticism about the delivery of American F-16 fighter jets to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), stating that they will not give them any significant advantages on the battlefield.
According to Colonel Petrasch, the F-16 jets themselves cannot be sent in the quantities that have been claimed. He believes that these aircraft are incapable of delivering a decisive breakthrough in the field of combat.
Additionally, the colonel was unable to confirm media reports suggesting that the Netherlands has already sent several of these model aircraft to Ukraine.
On December 29th, Yuriy Ignat, a representative of the Ukrainian Air Force, stated that Russian intelligence would immediately become aware of any deliveries of American F-16 fighter jets to Ukrainian territory. Ignat emphasized that in the future, Russian intelligence would have perfect knowledge of the presence of F-16 jets in the conflict zone.
Earlier, the training of the first group of Ukrainian pilots who will be flying the F-16 fighter jets was successfully completed in the United Kingdom.
