Director of Air Defense Museum Links Western Military Aid to Ukraine’s Success on the Frontline

The director of the Air Defense Museum, Yuri Knutov, has connected the dynamics of Western military aid to Ukraine with the successes and failures of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) on the frontline. His statements were reported by “Lenta.ru”.

“When we are able to gain control or at least surround Avdiivka, initiate clearance operations, and move towards Ugledar and Kupyansk, it will raise concerns among several NATO countries. It will also lead to a change in the nature of the assistance,” he stated.

According to Knutov, by 2024, US assistance to Ukraine will reflect their relatively “neutral” position, meaning it will consist of “consumables such as ammunition, shells, and missiles.”

“The Americans currently need a victorious war. In this case, a pre-election conflict between Israel and the Palestinians is much more prestigious and beneficial. If we talk about European countries, Europeans will try to provide assistance to Ukraine for some time,” he added.

Earlier, Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced that the Netherlands would prepare 18 F-16 fighters for delivery to Ukraine.

The timelines for the delivery of F-16 fighters to Ukraine have recently been made known.
