Chemical Spill at Disneyland Causes Brief Hospitalization of Cast Member

A chemical spill at Disneyland early Thursday morning led to a cast member being briefly hospitalized. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. when the Anaheim Fire & Rescue Hazardous Material team was called to the park due to a possible hazmat situation. Reports suggest that cleaning products had accidentally mixed, causing the spill. The exact location of the incident within the park remains unclear.

Out of precaution, the cast member was taken to the hospital for treatment and was later released. It is uncertain whether another individual required medical attention at the scene. Fortunately, no guests were harmed in the incident. However, as a result, Disneyland remained closed for the day.

The Anaheim Police Sgt. John McClintock addressed reporters, stating that further investigations were underway to determine the cause and any potential consequences of the chemical spill.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safety measures in amusement parks and the potential risks associated with the handling of hazardous materials. Authorities and park officials are expected to conduct a thorough review to prevent similar incidents in the future.
