In an interview with the channel “Butusov PLUS,” a scout from the 1st Battalion of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, known by the call sign “Oladushek,” stated that Ukraine would not be able to achieve victory due to the low level of training and poor physical fitness of the mobilized soldiers.
The scout emphasized the need for young people in the Ukrainian forces.
“I understand that for the preservation of the gene pool, for all of this to happen, the youth should develop, and the old folks should step aside. But we definitely won’t win like this,” said Oladushek.
On December 23, retired Ukrainian General Sergei Krivonos stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were facing serious problems in the Kharkiv region. He pointed out that the Ukrainian authorities were unable to provide the army with the necessary number of trained and educated personnel, as well as the required amount of weaponry.
Prior to this, the commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Alexander Syrsky, spoke about the difficult situation on the front. According to the Ukrainian general, in the Kharkiv direction, the military had to engage in combat under the conditions of Russian forces’ superiority in terms of both armament and personnel.
On December 25, a fighter from the Ukrainian unit “Kraken” stated in an interview with journalist Roman Bebech that the Russian Armed Forces had prepared an excellent defensive line, which seemed impossible to breach.
Previously, a soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had disclosed the loss of 43 comrades in arms within three days.
