The Israeli city of Sderot, located on the border with the Gaza Strip, has come under rocket fire, according to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.

Details about casualties and damages resulting from the rocket attack have not yet been reported.

According to the online newspaper Times of Israel, early in the morning, air raid sirens were activated in Sderot, as well as in the neighboring towns of Ibim and Nir-Am. Later, an air raid alert was also issued in the kibbutz of Nahal Oz. Due to ongoing conflicts and frequent rocket attacks, a significant number of residents in these areas have been forced to temporarily evacuate their homes.

Earlier, it was reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) were conducting a military operation in the West Bank city of Tulkarm and its suburbs.

Prior to this, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu referred to the “deradicalization” of the entire Palestinian society as a condition for peace in the Gaza Strip. He also listed the demilitarization of the sector and the destruction of Hamas as other conditions for peace.
