Russian Special Forces Conduct Successful Operation in Ukraine, Taking Control of Strategic Position

Russian special forces conducted a raid on a Ukrainian military outpost in the Artemovsk direction, capturing one soldier. The operation took place during the night, with the special forces camouflaging themselves near the bunker and initiating surveillance. Once the Ukrainian troops arrived at the location, Russian artillery opened fire on them, and the reconnaissance team launched a surprise attack on the position.

The captured soldier revealed that the Russian special forces approached the Ukrainian positions. The squad commander, known as “Siberia,” disclosed that the operation successfully exposed several enemy positions, utilizing FPV drones. As a result, the Ukrainians began to abandon their positions, allowing the Russian fighters to take control.

Another group of scouts, aided by a UAV, discovered a network of bunkers and a machine gun emplacement. Ammunition was dropped on the first target, while the rest were neutralized using mortar fire and FPV drones.

On December 22, the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that Russian airborne troops had gained control of a strategic point near Artemovsk, located northwest of the settlement.

Previously, a Ukrainian soldier had mentioned the loss of 43 comrades in arms over three days.
