Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Visits Gaza, Urges Soldiers to Continue Operation

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Gaza Strip and met with Israeli soldiers during his visit, according to local newspaper The Jerusalem Post.

The article states that after the trip, the Israeli Prime Minister urged the soldiers not to stop. He emphasized that the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are determined to complete the operation in the Palestinian enclave.

“I have just returned from the Gaza Strip, where I met with a division of reservists. They all asked me for one thing: we cannot stop, we must go all the way to the end,” said the Prime Minister, addressing his Likud party in the Knesset.

He added that in the coming days, the soldiers of the Jewish state will intensify their battles in the Gaza Strip. However, Netanyahu stated that Israeli soldiers are facing “prolonged” battles.

On December 24, the Israeli Prime Minister stated that the country’s government is doing everything possible to protect its citizens. At the same time, he highlighted the gradual advancement of the state’s army into the depths of the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu emphasized that the soldiers of the Jewish state will continue to fight until “complete victory” over the Hamas movement. However, he noted that the IDF is paying a high price for the incursion into the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, the IDF announced the expansion of the military operation in the Khan Yunis area.
