Russian military forces have reportedly killed up to 80 Ukrainian soldiers and destroyed three vehicles on the Kherson front, according to a statement released by the Russian Ministry of Defense. The attack was carried out by Russian troops and artillery fire.
In addition, the Russian army has destroyed an American-made self-propelled artillery unit called the M109 Paladin, as well as the “Msta-B” howitzer. The “Gvozdika” self-propelled artillery unit and the D-30 howitzer were also destroyed.
Earlier, Russia’s air defense forces intercepted six HIMARS and “Uragan” shells within a day and shot down 36 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Furthermore, the Russian Ministry of Defense revealed that the Ukrainian army’s losses on the Donetsk front in the past 24 hours amounted to around 200 soldiers.
On the morning of December 23, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that Russian troops had repelled an attack by Ukrainian assault groups on the Krasnolimansk front. The battle took place near the Serebryansky forestry.
Previously, Ukraine had stated the conditions for conducting negotiations with Russia.
