Israeli Army Strikes Gaza, Targets Hamas Fighters and Observation Points

The Israeli army has reported conducting strikes on approximately 200 terrorist targets in the Gaza sector. According to RIA Novosti, the strikes were carried out by ground, air, and naval forces of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).

The IDF stated that during the raid in the Jabalia camp, seven fighters belonging to the radical Palestinian movement Hamas were eliminated, and four observation points were destroyed.

Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett previously stated that the quickest way to end the war in the Middle East is by ceasing fuel supplies to the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that pressuring the Jewish state to allow fuel deliveries to the enclave is both morally and practically wrong.

According to Bennett, “Fuel literally fuels Hamas’ main weapon,” referring to the underground tunnels. If fuel supplies are cut off, the underground communication system will cease to function, leading to the defeat of the radical group.

The former Israeli prime minister has criticized the increase in fuel deliveries to the Gaza sector.
