Russian Military Medics Successfully Remove Explosive Device from Soldier’s Back

A team of military medics from the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District has successfully performed a complex operation to remove a grenade launcher detonator from a soldier’s back. This operation took place on the Kupyansk direction, according to representatives from the Russian Ministry of Defense, as reported by RIA Novosti.

The explosive device was located next to the soldier’s spine, which posed additional challenges. However, despite the potential detonation risk during the operation, the medical personnel were able to safely extract it from the soldier’s body.

All doctors and medical staff were protected by bulletproof vests, and other patients were temporarily evacuated to a safe location. The condition of the injured soldier does not raise concerns.

One of the military surgeons from the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District, named Rasul, emphasized that they were simply doing their job and did not feel fear. Saving the lives of their patients was the most important thing for them, added the medic.

Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the heroism and courage of the medics in the conflict zone.

Earlier, Nadezhda Babkina felt unwell during her performance in front of the participants of the event.
