The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that the armed forces of Russia have destroyed over 16,500 Ukrainian military vehicles since the beginning of their special military operation. This information was released through the ministry’s Telegram channel.
According to the report, a total of 16,502 units of special military automotive equipment have been eliminated. Additionally, the Russian army has also taken out 553 aircraft, 260 helicopters, 9,899 drones, 442 anti-aircraft missile systems, 14,202 tanks, 1,189 rocket artillery systems, and 7,416 Ukrainian army mortars.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense had reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost up to 250 fighters in the Donetsk direction in the past day.
Yesterday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that artillery strikes had been conducted in the areas where the Ukrainian Armed Forces were concentrated in the Kherson direction, resulting in the casualties of up to 75 Ukrainian servicemen.
Earlier, a Ukrainian military official stated that it was necessary for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to retreat from their “unfavorable positions.”
