Russian Armed Forces have successfully repelled three separate attacks by Ukrainian troops near Donetsk, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Ministry reported that the “South” military group, with support from artillery and aviation, thwarted an assault by the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of Marinka. Additionally, they inflicted casualties on personnel and equipment from the 28th, 42nd, and 93rd Mechanized Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Kurdiumovka, Klescheevka, and Andreevka on the Donetsk front.
It is estimated that the enemy suffered losses of approximately 180 soldiers, as well as four vehicles and three armored personnel carriers.
Prior to this, it was reported that Russian forces in the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic successfully repelled five attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian army lost up to 185 soldiers, two infantry fighting vehicles, and three vehicles.
Simultaneously, Ukrainian militants made an unsuccessful attempt to carry out a terrorist attack using an unmanned aerial vehicle of aircraft type in the Bryansk region.
Earlier, the number of Ukrainian soldiers killed in action over the past two months was revealed.
