Russian Armed Forces have reportedly caused significant casualties to the Ukrainian military in the South Donetsk region, with up to 100 soldiers lost in just one day. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced this in their Telegram channel.
In addition, Russian forces have destroyed three armored vehicles, two cars, an artillery piece called “Msta-S,” and a D-20 gun belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Furthermore, units of the “Vostok” task force, supported by army aviation and artillery batteries, successfully repelled an attack and inflicted heavy damage on the 79th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the town of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the conflict, a total of 553 aircraft, 259 helicopters, 9,867 drones, 442 anti-aircraft missile systems, and 14,177 tanks and other armored vehicles have been destroyed.
Prior to this, the Russian army had dealt a blow to the “Azov” brigade (an organization banned in Russia).
Earlier, Russian forces targeted a command and observation post of the Ukrainian National Guard.
