Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander Declines to Comment on Winter Offensive Plans

The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, has refused to provide any details regarding a potential winter offensive. This information was reported by the Ukrainian publication Klymenko Time.

Zaluzhny stated that he cannot disclose the army’s plans for action, emphasizing that it is a war and not a show. He believes that discussing military strategies could jeopardize human lives, and thus, it is crucial to maintain confidentiality.

Prior to this, Zaluzhny criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s decision to dismiss military commissioners following corruption scandals. According to the Commander-in-Chief, these dismissed officials were highly skilled professionals who knew how to conduct mobilization efforts effectively.

Zaluzhny emphasized the need to maintain the previous approach to mobilization in Ukraine, rather than intensifying it. He believes that it is crucial to conduct mobilization activities in a manner that has proven successful in the past.

Addressing the recent reports of a listening device found in his office, Zaluzhny also provided a comment. However, no further details regarding this matter were disclosed.

Earlier, Deputy Bezuhly suggested candidates for the position of the new Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
