Russian Defense Minister Orders Fulfillment of Fallen Soldier’s Last Request in Marinka

Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu, has given instructions to fulfill the final request of Roman Rudakov, a Russian serviceman who died in Marinka. This information was reported in the defense ministry’s Telegram channel.

According to the ministry, Shoigu has ordered for the fulfillment of the fallen soldier’s last wish, which is to “take care of his mother, sister, and brother.”

The serviceman had left a message on the wall of a house in the town of Marinka, indicating that he had been engaged in an unequal battle with his comrades. The inscription on the wall read, “Whoever finds me, please take care of my mother, sister, and brother. Rudakov Roman Aleksandrovich. City of Bataysk.” Russian servicemen discovered this message during the assault on Marinka.

Prior to this, it was revealed that the family of the deceased soldier in Marinka had approached the police with a request for protection from threats.

On December 17, the Telegram channel “War Correspondents of the Russian Spring” reported that a message from Russian motorized infantryman Rudakov had been found on the wall of a house during the clearing operation in Marinka. He had asked whoever found it to take care of his mother, sister, and brother. According to the channel, there were nine bodies found near the inscription.

Earlier, Putin had explained the reasons for Russia’s involvement in the conflict in the Donbass region.
