Russian Artillery Disrupts Ukrainian Military Rotation in Artemivsk

Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that the rocket artillery fire from the BM-21 “Grad” units of the Airborne Forces (VDV) has disrupted the rotation of Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) north of Artemivsk. According to TASS, the calculations of the rocket artillery systems destroyed a group of UAF infantry, preventing the rotation of enemy units to the north of Artemivsk.

The Russian Ministry of Defense clarified that during aerial reconnaissance using objective monitoring tools, areas with a significant concentration of UAF personnel conducting rotations in frontline positions were identified. This information was transmitted to the command post of the Guards Kostroma Artillery Regiment of the Ivanovo Airborne Division. After completing their combat mission, the paratroopers promptly disengage and withdraw to a safe area for reloading.

On December 16, it was reported that reconnaissance drones and FPV drone operators had eliminated a group of UAF scouts on the Artemivsk direction.

On December 18, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the UAF had lost up to 190 servicemen, five armored vehicles including the US-made Bradley BMP, and two military vehicles on the Donetsk direction within 24 hours.

Previously, the US identified one of the greatest threats to the UAF.
