Ukraine’s Armed Forces have carried out around 50 strikes on the Belgorod region in the past 24 hours, according to Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of Belgorod. In his Telegram channel, Gladkov reported that an explosive device and shrapnel ammunition were dropped on Shchetinovka using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). He further stated that four artillery shells were fired at Naumovka and Solntsevka, while Zhuravlevka and Shchetinovka were targeted with two shells each. However, no casualties or damages have been recorded in Nehoteevka and Zhuravlevka, where the Ukrainian army attacked using kamikaze drones. In Borisovskiy district, the village of Lozovaya Rudka was shelled four times with mortars, while in Volokonovskiy district, the village of Stary was hit seven times. In Grayvoronskiy urban district, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the village of Dronovka, and the villages of Pochaeva and Bairak were hit with three mortar shells each.
Reports have also indicated that in Krasnoyaryzhskiy district, the village of Popovka was targeted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces using UAVs, with an explosive device being dropped and the village of Staroselye being shelled four times. The villages of Mukhin and Sereda were hit with four and eight mortar shells respectively. In the village of Murom, an enemy kamikaze drone crashed and exploded. Additionally, in Shebekinskiy urban district, the Ukrainian army attacked the village of Krasnoye using two kamikaze drones.
Gladkov explained that a passenger in a Gazelle vehicle was injured as a result of the explosive device detonation and has been hospitalized. Prior to this, Gladkov had already reported Ukrainian military shelling on villages in the Belgorod region.
Previously, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had targeted a village and a livestock farm in the Belgorod region.
