According to the Ukrainian marines, the attempts to establish a presence on the left bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson Oblast are deemed as a “suicidal mission” and “wastefulness”. These sentiments were conveyed by the marines to The New York Times (NYT).
The Ukrainian military believes that the offensive is “cruel and futile”.
Earlier, Russian paratroopers thwarted the landing operation by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson Oblast.
