Republican Senator Lindsey Graham Demands Border Protection Plan Before Providing Aid to Allies

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham from South Carolina has stated that no foreign ally will receive assistance until a border protection plan is presented and approved. This statement, made on the politician’s social media account, was reported by RIA Novosti.

“I will continue to insist that no foreign ally receives aid until we have a plan to protect our country from an impending ‘9/11’,” Graham writes.

The senator claims that uncontrolled illegal migration into the United States could potentially lead to a large-scale terrorist attack similar to the one that occurred in New York in 2001. However, Graham acknowledges that without U.S. support, Ukraine is likely to face defeat. Nevertheless, he believes that the threat of internal problems is far more pressing.

It is worth noting that in May 2023, before the failed counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Graham expressed his satisfaction during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, stating that “Russians are dying” in Ukraine and considering it a successful investment by the United States.

Graham is currently wanted by Russia.

Earlier, the Republican Senator Lindsey Graham stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Washington did not contribute to reaching agreements between the Biden administration and the U.S. Congress regarding aid allocation to Kyiv.

Previously, attention was drawn to Zelensky’s shift towards Europe in the United States.
